The reason I haven't written on this blog in more than a month is because as soon as we got back from Canada, we began preparing for a yard sale, and that yard sale was this weekend. Yesterday and today, to be exact. It went so well - better than we ever expected. We were blessed by our small group from our church, who not only organized help, but showed up both days bringing food, setting up, tearing down, and watching kids. We could not have done it without them. We sold about 75% of our stuff, had a blast, and though it was hot and humid, it did NOT rain. We did our yard sale with our neighbor, who donated most of her proceeds to support our ministry with Wycliffe. I don't even know what to say about that... sometimes you're just so overwhelmed with blessing that words just aren't enough. Thanks, Emily. :)
Though we still do not know whether we will be leaving Lancaster in one month or six months (we will know soon!), we feel peace and God's blessing on our family. Though it was an emotional process giving up some of our possessions that we still loved, we are reminded that our true treasures are stored up in heaven.
More to come soon - we're back in a routine for a few more weeks until we travel yet again. There's a lot happening in our lives, so keep checking, and thanks for reading!
