Looking at the title of this post makes me think of the verse that is always on our newsletter: "But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations." (Psalm 33:11) I am glad that we are not following our own plan, but God's, even though His way often seems more difficult than our own. So before I launch into our new set of travel plans, I want to make it very clear that we are not on our own timeline, and ask you to pray that we would always be open to what God has for us as we follow His leading.
After several weeks of waiting and praying, we have a departure date from Lancaster of July 25th! At that time, we will travel to Wisconsin, Saskatchewan, and Washington during the month of August, and will arrive at JAARS in North Carolina at the end of August to begin Peter's aviation orientation.
The main thing we have felt with this decision is peace. It will be hard to leave Lancaster and the friendships we have made, but we also feel that it's time to go. It's an odd feeling, bittersweet and chaotically peaceful - chaotic because there's so much to do! We are looking forward to our last month here.
